January stillness

I have been spending the first part of the year thinking, thinking and thinking. It’s the time of year and also my temperament. After the rush of the holiday season, coupled with the work necessary to implement changes at the office for the new year, I’m tired. All of the work has been joyfully for the most part but now I need some time for me and time to think.

New year comes with new commitments, new activities and new goals. To move on to these new things I need to leave some of the old stuff first.  I made my new years plan to get rid of anything be it habit, food item, thing I own or person that I don’t need, or love, or brings me joy

So my first activity I am rethinking my and my family’s schedule. We have been having a hard time with Little. She was to wound up from the holidays. She was sleep deprived and acting out. So we stepped back and looked at what was going on. We made her (and therefore our) sleep a priority. We have been making time to be outside several times a day an honoring our internal winter clocks that call for a little more quite and a little slower life.

I am feeling peaceful, and happy. I still need to flush out the schedule and figure out how everything will fit, and what will go. One thing I need to do is find my time to write and create.

I hope you are finding your peace and january stillness that will give you time and energy to bring forth what you want to manifest for yourselves this year.
