Pictures of My BOS

This is my Book of Shadows or rather the the latest BOS I have had several over the years and this beautiful book was gifted to me by a dear friend. She got it at our local  office and art supply store. I think it is made by Peter Pauper Press.  They have some really pretty ones or you can just use any notebook or scrapbook or journal or sketch book that you like.

The words are a mix of mine and ones shared with me. The pictures came from lots of sources but they include Smithsonian, National Geographic and Victoria Magazines as well as other random magazines and of course the net.

I Keep a pin board of art that speaks to me and use some of it for my book.

  1. Very lovely indeed!

  2. Beautiful, I just ordered the same one, The name of this brand of book is called “Paperblanks Grolier Ornamentali Sketch Journal, Grande”

  3. First off, thanks for visiting my blog and the piece I wrote, “An Author, An Angel & A Healing Brick”….it has led me back to yours! And I love it! The book is an excellent, creative, and beautiful idea! What an inspiration you are! I love it! It’s magical! Nicely done! xoJulia

    • Thank you so much. You know I cried when I read your piece. like full on tears streaming down my face. I can’t imagine that pain and the little I can imagine is to much.

  4. You have spent so much time with this book… it is amazing. I loved the picture accompanying The Call to the God. I remember seeing that Giuseppe Arcimboldo painting a long time ago but I have never seen it associated with a deity… genious. I wonder if the artist had the Horned One in mind…

    • Oh thank you so much! I love the way art moves people. I love how it moves me and speaks in different layers. I’m so glad you it moved you too. 🙂

  5. You have inspired to get back to updating my Grimoire 🙂
