Interfaith guest blogger request

I have been thinking a lot about faith and how it influences our lives. I have some thoughts kicking around in my head about it all but I would really love to hear from lots and lots of folks.

Here are the parameters.

Deadline for submissions is May 31st,

No length requirements but here are some ideas to get you started 🙂

I want to know about your faith and how it plays out in your daily life.

How does it influence your actions and how active you feel you are with your faith?

I am hoping this will be a discussion with many different faiths represented so please be respectful of others.

The more the merrier so let your friends know!

Thank you all I am so excited about this!

today is not my day

I am sad and feel defeated. The toddler opened the front door and the fur toddler has got out and run away. I chased him/ called for him/ tried to entice him back for 2 hours to no avail. I couldn’t follow him in to the thick brush behind our house and to top it off I tripped and almost broke my leg. To make matters worse my escapee is part pittbull and so is not overly loved by some humans. True it is just racism and he really is the sweetest most loving dog ever but it makes me worry about him out there.

I can hear dogs barking around the greater neighborhood, but what I am I supposed to do? The Toddler is now down for her nap and its not like the Fur toddler comes when I call him anyway. argh! so I am left sitting her feeling useless and helpless and like a jerky dog owner.  boo!

“Once, I can’t remember, I was long ago, someone strange. I was innocent and wise, and full of pain. Now that I’m a woman, everything has changed. Once, when I was searching, somewhere out of reach, far away, in a place I could not find, or heart obey. Now that I’m a woman, everything is strange.” – Amalthea from The Last Unicorn.
