This is Mr No Tail or NT for short. He is a particularly fat lizard and lives right outside our kitchen door. Thought you might to meet some of our neighbors 🙂

“Once, I can’t remember, I was long ago, someone strange. I was innocent and wise, and full of pain. Now that I’m a woman, everything has changed. Once, when I was searching, somewhere out of reach, far away, in a place I could not find, or heart obey. Now that I’m a woman, everything is strange.” – Amalthea from The Last Unicorn.

Yer cute, NT! 🙂
I think it is probably in the process of growing back. I remember something about lizards being able to drop their tale in order to get away from a predator.
My neighbors are now like that thanks to my cats LOL
yep, that’s exactly it Lleni. That is their defence against predators.
I remember the first time I seen one as a child. It scared me and I ran home telling my mom. At first she didn’t believe me cause they are not very prolific in the middle of Alberta. Thanks for showing the picture of your neighbour. Was nice to reflect on a childhood memory. 🙂
