Poppy’s Planning Valentine Day

Well my dears it is almost that time of year. Most people seem to dread it but I don’t know I am warming up to the idea of a love day.  Besides I love any excuse to celebrate! ANY!

So This is what I have up my sleeve.

and of course

Lunch of course would be

of course because we love grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Dinner now that is more tricky. I have usually made heart-shaped meatloaf and pink mashed potatoes but I want to change it up this year. So I am thinking

but I would not fry the goat cheese.

I am sure I will make some sort of vegetable but I have no idea what yet.

Next up decorations.
I think I will have Little make these

But I am pretty sure I’m going to go crazy around the house with these

I don’t think I will gifts but I am sure it will be a fantastic day, which is more important than a thing. How are you going to celebrate?

We will be celebrating dinner only, but I might make lunch special for kiddos. We will do decorations with toilet paper rolls and paint! I’m thinking place mats :)erin is gonna help me make oatmeal pie cookies for her class!

  2. Yummy Poppy! We don’t really have plans. We try to treat each day we have together like it’s a holiday!

  3. Sadly this year we may not be able to get each other gifta since money is tight. We will just sit at home and cuddle with a nice dinner. Your ideas sound awesome! I really like the paper hearts on the door.

  4. but what could be a better gift then that? Nothing is more precious then time and attention.
