Liebster Award

i’m honored to announce that   sweet sweet Morrighan over at  The Enchanted Solitaire has nominated me for the liebster award!! This is an award for new and up and coming bloggers.

The rules on nominating bloggers for this is that

1.the bloggers have to have 200 or less followers.

2.there is a list of questions to answer from your nominator as well as having to come up with a list of questions for your own nominees. you can either use the same questions as was asked of you or make up new ones for your nominees.

3.copy/paste the award logo into your post. you can add it to your blog sidebar or footer if you wish.

4. notify your nominees of the nomination.

these are my nominees, in no particular order.(also I have no idea how many followers folks have as they don’t have a widget that tells me that)

Musings of a Kitchen Witch

Adventures and Musings of a Hedgewitch

A Sacred Journey

The Ditzy Druid

The Idealistic Rebel

I think all of these bloggers are wonderful and I am sure you will too.

Below are the questions asked by my nominator and (because they are good questions)  they are also the questions for my nominees.

1. Which art form offers you the truest expression for yourself?

I guess it depends on what you consider an art form. I would say cooking, collage and planning. I know planning sounds like an odd art form but I like to believe I have “elevated it to an art form”

2. In that art form, what is your most honest piece of expression?

In college I would say it is my BOS in cooking it is each and every meal I feed myself and family.

3. What always makes you laugh?

I laugh a lot. my friends, my hubby, my kid she is down right hilarious.

4. What always makes you cry?

Almost anything with kids and Soldiers being reunited with their families. Like the one in the Rose parade! I cried into my coffee.  Tears of happiness but it gets me every time.

5. What is one thing that you can’t do that you’d love to be able to do?

I don’t think there is anything I can’t do 🙂

6-7. What is your favorite book? Why does it affect you so?

There is no possible way to answer this. I am an avid reader  so I will just list a few. The Oz books because I learned to read on them. Power of The Witch, because it is how I learned other people thought like me. Woman Hollering creek because it is beautiful, Animal Vegetable miracle because it puts the food issue in an easy to read way and The happiness project because I like the idea of striving for happiness.

8-9. What is your favorite movie or play? Why does it affect you so?

The important of being Ernest. Doge Ball, Amalie, Big Fish.  all of them transport me and make me laugh

10. If you were given the opportunity to spend one more day with a friend or family member who has passed away, what would you do?

I would do a life interview with my Grandmother and cook her all her favorite foods. Play her, her favorite songs and in general just be with her.

11. If you had won the $580 million Power Ball jackpot last night, what would you be doing today?

LOL the same thing. watching my child, helping my family, working at what I do. though I would go buy the house I want (Its 1.7 mill) as well as the whole block around it for my besties,  making armaments to give a ton of money to Planned Parenthood and the women’s shelter.
