That old fall feeling

a quite moment to write.

Hubby took us out to dinner tonight. It was to hot in the house to cook and he took pity on me. Yes I realize just how blessed we are that we can afford to do this. Upon arriving home and tucking the wiggle worm into her bed we realized we missed the debates. He is now watching them online and I have taken my laptop to our room to have some non political writing time.

Coming into to my room I discovered that Little (who is still making noise in her room but mostly staying in there) has stolen my pillow. This is one of her new things. Does she like that softness/ firmness ration or does she just get a kick out of stealing things from me? I have no idea but oh well if it keeps her quite I am for it! Eventually her pretending to go to bed turns into actually going to bed and everyone wins.

Of course I may drift off to sleep before she does. Fall is working its magic on me. dark comes early and makes me feel like sleep. Dark stays late and makes me want to stay in bed. On one hand everything s…l…o….w…s down. On the other I have a million ideas going on things I want to do or feel like I need to do.

Above and beyond the normal things I do each and everyday Fall always blesses me with lots of ideas.I feel like I need to get them done right now or I will forget them. I have worked on two of them today. The first is a teaching tool for herbs. This will also serve as the base of an herbal grimoire and is going to be a holiday gift for at least one of my friends. The second is a much, much, much bigger project and I am proud to say I made real headway on this today. I am creating a Book of Days date book and I was able to print out a test month to try out and modify. 🙂 now time to go steal my pillow back and go to sleep.
