In my quest to be a better. I started reading a series at infarrantly creative: what every blogger wants you to know. I thought I would find out what ever blogger wants me to know, even though I am a blogger, i’m not as I have said a serious one. I am serious about what I write but I don’t spend hours a day with my blog. I would love to and maybe I will some day. I have found that given a few uninterrupted hours I can usually write out about 4 thousand words. So maybe some day I will be a serious writer and I will be more serious about my blog.
In the mean time I am a serious reader and I know many of the blogs I love and follow use their blogs not just to share very cool things with all of us but to support them and their families. For them page views make a big difference. So what I didn’t know is that even though I am reading their blogs they are not getting credit for my views! This is because I read my blogs mostly through Google Reader. The above link was attempting to teach me how to give blogs credit when using Google Reader. I am sure it was doing a great job but Little woke up and was not interested in me being on the computer. She was “helping me” get off the computer and I lost my place. I ended up in the comments section where a reader was talking about Google Next. I followed the simple instructions and voila I now am now using Next for Google Reader.
Hope this helps all my peeps that are counting on page views.
