Friday 5 (7/6) Things I love about my blog :)

This is a special post for me . I realize it is rather self absorbed to have a post about how much I love my blog, but I will allow myself this indulgence for a special reason.  Tomorrow is my one year anniversary with this blog! Thank you for being on this crazy journey with me.

Here is where I started. I thought I would have a pagan blog and so I shared some photos of my personal book of shadows (check out pictures on these posts here, here, and  here) The words I added to the right page are apt here. They state: “Welcome all with open heart and open mind, What you seek, you shall find”

2. I love my faith and I love celebrating life and living that way every day. This blog let me share some of our favorite holidays with you like egg day or the moons, and all the other ways that we mark the rhythm of our season and life.

3. Along the Journey I realized that this was not a pagan blog it was a blog about me and I am pagan but I am so much more. I think most people of any spiritual faith would agree that their faith gives them the foundation on how they live their life but they are not just one thing. We are multidimensional  beings and so I changed my idea from a pagan blog to a blog where I share my journey in living an intentional life. Naturally  started talking more about my family and the rest of my life. it has been an interesting year for our family too. Our Little has gown so much and my Husband and I have grown more in our marriage as well. So maybe this blog lacks focus but its ok because it is really me and who I am . We had some other significant events in our family this year. It has been nice to have an outlet to talk about those things, and share those stories.

4. I have learned how to write better and how to blog better and even though my friend  Elfkat (true I have never met her but we are blog pals) was so sweet to give me a Versatile Blogger Award. I really still feel like I am stumbling blindingly along. I am not what you call techy…at all. in fact most of my interactions with technology tend to be disastrous. I have a special skill for breaking computers and equipment. The worst part of it is if I get mad or frustrated its all over, my computer, phone, printer seems to know this and freezes. EVERY TIME! I have learned how to add a blog roll and other various interesting menus. I have learned how to upload photos and embed a YouTube video. I have learned that if I post when I am tired I will get comments about my spelling (did y’all not read about my dyslexia) I have learned that I can do this!

5. I love that not only do other people read about my crazy life and my various adventures but they share about their own with me. I love the comradeship of the other blogs I follow. I love the sharing of ideas and I love know there are other people out there that think like me. I love that when I share particular parts of my crazy such as my Book Of Days the response was overwhelming. It was something that I felt shy about sharing and yet it is one of the highest views I have got.

So from me to you. thank you one and all. Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing, thank you for your comments, thank you for the love and for allowing me to grow as person as you follow along.
