no one believes in magic until

Not a long in depth post but something tumbling around in my mind.  Also today is the Thursday, which is the day I said I would be talking about magic.

Despite the fact that magic is part of nature we as humans have seemed to declare it other worldly.  We give it more credit then it is due in some instances, blaming  everything on it (look up witch hunts, past and current day ) And in the same breath we say it doesn’t exist. Prove it we say.

Before you get to hung up on the word magic let us think about prayer. There are actual studies that show the power of prayer which is the same thing. It is the power of a human to influence the outcome.

What I really want to say though is that many treat magic and those who do it with superstition and disdain Yet it is those same folks that when times are hard, come asking for help. While I never mind helping I find it extremely distasteful for people to look down their nose at something then go to the back door beg for help, while still looking down on it.  Lets Get real folks. As far as I can tell I have never met a person that doesn’t really believe in magic. If your are going to ask for help when the going gets tough then lets just say “it may be a possibility” instead of absolutely no it doesn’t exist.
