what we are up to this week

Today I went and did my last few hours at my away from home job for the month and I can’t say that I’m sad about it. I am happy to be focusing on our home and family again without the divided attention. That said because it seemed to be a big hit I am going to share whats on doc for our week.

Monday: we will be baking some scones because Little keeps asking for them. Dinner is going to be

Tuesday: Paint day. It is also the day that several dear wonderful ladies come to help me out. One is helping me try to bring some organization to the home and the other to play with Little so she is not board.  This is silly but I’m going to them work on some mother’s day gifts for me. Hey it means a lot to me, hubby doesn’t have time to help Little paint or craft this week so why not.  Dinner will be tacos. This is essentially the worlds easiest dinner so after a long day it is nice to have something quick. As for the art project I’m thinking maybe this?

Wednesday is normal our craft day but we will be going to some doctor appointments with Grammy so I think we are just going to make it our adventure day and do a long day at the park. If I get my act together we can do a color scavenger hunt and maybe a picnic with Grammy.  Dinner will be:

Thursday is garden day! I planted some pumpkins and squash last week but, we need to plant some zucchini.  I also need to get some more flowers in. This means Little will dig a while help me put in the zucchini and then spend the rest of her time splashing in her wadding pool. Which honestly is one of my favorite things for her. ( I feel another Little Friday Five coming on) We are going to have teriyaki bowls for dinner which is really just beef broccoli and rice.

Friday may end up at the park or the beach again depending on how things go. We have a rehearsal dinner that night for our good friends and it would be nice if Little had a lot of running time in before that 🙂

Saturday is market day so off to the farmers market where I will gladly buy all the food my loving hubby and Little will cook for me on Sunday Mothers day 🙂 We have the wedding that evening too so it will be 3 nights in a row I don’t cook!
