My first BOS

I thought I would share with you some more pictures today. These are all of my first book of shadows. If you look at the date on top of the full moon ritual page you will see it was made in 1995.

I found this beautiful book at a wonderful local store called Avalon. It had blank pages and was covered in fabric. Oh how I Ioved these books (I had several more after this one got filled up) I used them as journals as well until the day I could no longer find them. A very sad day. This was the first and it is so beautiful.

and here are a few photos of some of the pages inside.

gotta love the stickers! ha. hope you enjoyed the peak.

You wouldn’t happen to hail from the greater Orlando area would you?

    • I’m not. Though interestingly enough you are not the first to mention that. I am actually in central California.

Lol I just asked because there is a store here in Orlando called Avalon.

      • ah such a good name. We still have the store but they changed the stuff they carry. They happen to be in a uber touristy part of town and what started as a lovely little occult store got a little on the cheesy side 😦 We have another one but their focus is hoodo, which is not my thing and they and the third store in town dont have a ton of things but do charge like $200 for Witch classes which I find unethical. How are the stores in your area?

      • Lady Shardae

Actually, they are rather nice. Avalon carries a lot of nice things and so does the other one that is a little farther north. There is even an occult book store here in town which is really nice.

      • oh my but you are so lucky! I end up getting most of my things (though I guess I don’t need a lot) at the natural food store 🙂

      • Lady Shardae

lol wow. Yeah Orlando is rather big. We even have herbal shops
